UK house price growth halves in September to 0.8% - Nationwide

Annual house price growth in the UK slowed to 0.8% in September, down from 1.6% in August, according to Nationwide's latest house price index. This figure was lower than the market expectation of a 1.3% decline. Month-on-month, prices fell by 0.2%, reversing the 0.2% increase seen in August.
