Brookfield Backs U.S.-Korea Nuclear Framework Up To $120B
Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. (BAM) has backed a U.S.-Korea nuclear framework that commits up to $120 billion to finance eight U.S. reactors, including six Westinghouse AP1000 units. The framework also includes a planned 5%-10% Korean equity stake in Westinghouse. The terms are non-binding and subject to final negotiations.
