Kashkari says Fed must return inflation to 2%
Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari said the central bank must get inflation back to 2% after an extended period above target, preferably with restrained measures. He warned that rolling supply shocks could lift inflation expectations and said he does not think the economy is struggling beyond the AI sector.
