Bank of America to Pay $39 Million to Settle Customer Claims

Bank of America's Merrill Lynch unit will pay $39 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it paid brokerage customers near-zero interest rates on idle cash in their retirement accounts instead of market rates.
