Standard BioTools Sells Mass Cytometry Unit to Element Biosystems for $5.5M

Standard BioTools has agreed to sell its mass cytometry business to Element Biosystems for $5.5 million in cash. This follows a board-determined superior proposal backed by GMT Venture. The company also mutually terminated a prior sale agreement with Multiplex Bio.
