Gold Prices Pull Back Near Unchanged Line After Early Surge

Gold prices surged early Wednesday, gaining as much as 1.7 percent to a high of $4,251.10 an ounce, but have since given back ground. December gold was last seen trading at $4,181.20, up just $1.50 or less than a tenth of a percent.
