European Markets Close Weak On Higher Oil Prices, U.S.-Iran Deal Uncertainty
European stocks declined on Wednesday, pressured by rising bond yields and elevated oil prices. Lingering uncertainty surrounding a potential deal between Iran and the U.S. to end their conflict and allow the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz contributed to the weakness. Some weak economic data from Europe also played a role.
