Eli Lilly NYSE:LLY said on Wednesday its experimental combination weight-loss drug outperformed its blockbuster Zepbound in a head-to-head trial, sharpening competition with Danish rival Novo Nordisk OMXCOP:NOVO_B for new obesity treatments. The Indianapolis-based company said the result adds to the race to develop more effective therapies for obesity.
