India Notifies CAFE III Fuel Efficiency Norms Effective April 2027

India has announced the third phase of its Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE III) norms, which will be implemented for passenger vehicles from April 1, 2027, to March 31, 2032. The objective is to reduce fuel consumption, decrease oil imports, and lower carbon emissions.
