Exxon, Chevron defeat consumer lawsuit over plastic recycling claims

US District Judge Toby Crouse dismissed a lawsuit accusing Exxon Mobil, Chevron and other chemical producers of misleading the public about plastic recycling and driving up consumer costs, saying plaintiffs failed to show standing.
