The number of acquisition-ready MGA platforms in Europe is small, around 250 businesses out of 1,000, according to MarshBerry. These businesses account for 70% to 85% of European MGA premium. The scarcity is boosting valuations for quality MGAs, potentially leading to multiples four to five times higher than average.
