Canada dollar gains 0.1% vs greenback; 10-yr yield up 3.2 basis points to 3.999%

The Canadian dollar was trading 0.1% higher at C$1.4174 to the greenback, or 70.55 U.S. cents. The yield on Canadian government 10-year bonds rose 3.2 basis points to 3.999%, while the yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt fell to 5.2426%.
