Cal-Maine Foods drops after posts wider Q1 loss

Cal-Maine Foods shares fell 6.5% to $64.1 premarket after it posted Q1 revenue of $539.6 million and a Q1 net loss of $58.62 million versus a profit a year earlier. The company said conventional shell egg prices fell sharply during Q1 due to an industry supply imbalance after flock repopulation.
