SAIL airlifts first coking coal sample from Mongolia, sources say

Steel Authority of India flew in a 1-metric-ton sample earlier this month to assess whether Mongolian coal meets its steelmaking needs. The trial comes as India seeks to diversify coking coal supplies away from Australia.
