Portugal jobless rate steady at 5.7% in August
Portugal’s monthly unemployment rate was 5.7% in August, unchanged from July and down from 5.9% a year earlier, INE flash data showed. Labour underutilisation rose to 9.7%. Youth unemployment (16-24) fell to 19.8% from 21.0% in July.
