Orange Belgium and Nokia to test 50G-PON fiber at 50 Gbit/s in Belgium

Orange Belgium and Nokia will demonstrate 50G-PON fiber at 50 Gbit/s in a Belgian laboratory trial, using Nokia’s Altiplano Network Controller and targeting faster service activation, proactive fault detection and improved reliability and customer experience.
