S&P 500 remains in sideways trading after August record high

Reuters technical analysis says the S&P 500 has moved in a narrow range for more than 30 sessions since its August 13 intraday record of 7,816.70. Initial support is seen at 7,645-7,640, with resistance at 7,782.19 and the record high.
