LONDON, Sept 30 (Reuters) — Dutch and British gas prices traded in a narrow range on Wednesday after sharp falls in the previous session, as strong Norwegian supply balanced a rise in demand and the market weighed the prospect of a US-Iran deal. The benchmark Dutch front-month contract at the TTF hub was up €0.71 at €70.18 per megawatt hour (MWh), or about $23.34/mmBtu, by 0851 GMT, ICE data showed. The British front-month contract was up 1.01 pence at 177.54 pence per therm. Gas demand for power generation is up 246 gigawatt-hours per day (GWh/d) on the day-ahead as German wind output falls short of normal levels, while heating demand adds 92 GWh/d on cooler temperatures, LSEG data showed.
