Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed up 1.94 percent, the Hang Seng closed down 0.19 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed up 0.49 percent, the KOSPI closed down 0.48 percent and the ASX 200 closed up 1.26 percent. Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi up 0.48 percent, SoftBank Group up 6.55 percent, Alibaba up 0.38 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ up 3.01 percent and Meituan up 1.63 percent.
