Hitachi and Fanuc form strategic partnership to commercialize physical AI for factories

The firms plan to jointly commercialize physical AI for industrial robotics, with Hitachi factories as “Customer Zero” to validate systems and continuous learning from shop-floor data. Rollout is slated to start in fiscal 2027 via both companies’ global customer bases.
