Fay becomes post-tropical cyclone; NHC says it will dissipate in about a day

The system was about 1,590 miles (2,560 km) west-southwest of the Azores and had maximum sustained winds of 30 mph (45 km/h), the NHC said. The center added that little change in strength is expected and that Fay should dissipate in about a day.
