Alaska Air plans Alaska Airlines to join American’s Atlantic and Pacific joint ventures

Alaska Air Group said it plans for Alaska Airlines to join American Airlines’ Atlantic and Pacific joint businesses, seeking U.S. DOT approval, antitrust immunity and other international regulatory clearances in coming months. The Atlantic joint business includes American and IAG airlines; the Pacific joint business includes American and Japan Airlines.
