Applied Materials and Kioxia partner at EPIC Center to advance next-gen AI memory

Applied Materials formed an EPIC Center R&D partnership with Kioxia to advance next-generation memory technology for AI computing, targeting higher-density structures, multi-chip stacking, advanced packaging and materials engineering. The work will be based at Applied’s EPIC Center in Silicon Valley as part of a capital program expected to scale to about $5 billion.
