Eversource and Dartmouth Engineering win US DOE SPARK award worth about $47.7 million

The U.S. Department of Energy selected Eversource and Dartmouth Engineering for the SPARK award for the DREAM grid-capacity initiative, targeting dynamic line rating deployment across about 4,000 miles in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Funding could total about $47.7 million, subject to award negotiations, with work expected to start in 2027.
