UK police say no improvised explosive devices found in airbase plot probe
Britain’s counter-terrorism police said no improvised explosive devices were found in the investigation into a suspected plot targeting RAF Fairford, used by US forces to strike Iran. Police recovered petrol during vehicle searches, scaled back investigative scenes around the base and expected them to close by Wednesday, and said five men arrested Sunday remain under investigation after being released on bail.
