NHC issues Tropical Weather Outlook: Depression Fay and Storm Hanna; no formation expected
NHC said Tropical Depression Fay is well west-southwest of the Azores and Tropical Storm Hanna is well east-northeast of Bermuda; tropical cyclone formation not expected over the next 7 days.
The National Hurricane Center said at 200 PM EDT on Tue Sep 29 2026 that it is issuing advisories on Tropical Depression Fay, which is positioned well to the west-southwest of the Azores, and Tropical Storm Hanna, which is located well to the east-northeast of Bermuda. The center said tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the next 7 days.
