Sept 29 (Reuters) — JPMorgan Chase has appointed Mark O'Donovan as its head of human resources, effective January next year, succeeding Robin Leopold, CEO Jamie Dimon said in a memo seen on Tuesday. Here are some details: Leopold, who plans to retire in the first quarter of next year, has led human resources since 2018 and spent more than 16 years at JPMorgan, Dimon said. Dimon credited Leopold with helping the bank navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical changes and the rapid adoption of AI. O'Donovan, currently CEO of international consumer banking, will join the bank's operating committee and relocate from London to New York.

O'Donovan, who spent 30 years at JPMorgan, has previously served as chief financial officer of the Commercial & Investment Bank, CEO of Chase Home Lending and Chase Auto.
