Mutual insurers narrow financial gap with stock rivals, Aon-NAMIC report finds

The report says mutual insurers lifted surplus 16.2% in 2025, nearly double the growth for stock insurers, while improving underwriting performance. It also cites higher policyholder dividends, a lower combined ratio and continued pressure from catastrophe losses and inflation.
