EU energy chief, IEA chief discussed oil stock release, further talks needed

European Energy Commissioner Dan Jorgensen said on Tuesday he had discussed a possible release of oil stocks with International Energy Agency chief Fatih Birol.He added that further talks were needed with the IEA and EU member states before any decision could be taken.
