Crude Oil Down 1%; US Job Openings Fall In August

U.S. stocks traded lower midway through trading, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 50 points on Tuesday. The Dow traded down 0.65% to 51,144.93 while the NASDAQ fell 0.21% to 26,763.71. The S&P 500 also fell, dropping, 0.34% to 7,657.81. Leading and Lagging Sectors Utilities shares gained by 0.2% on Tuesday. In trading on Tuesday, consumer staples stocks fell by 1.1%. Top Headline U.S. job openings declined by 256,000 to 7.079 million in August from a revised 7.335 million in the previous month, versus market estimates of 7.23 million. Iovance Biotherapeutics Inc ( NASDAQ: IOVA ) shares were also up, gaining 22% to $13.40 after the company raised its FY26 revenue guidance.
