The company has now raised its streaming costs four times in four years. 99 per month cost in 2022. Netflix raised prices earlier this year and has one of the biggest price gaps between the ad-free and ad-supported plans. Peacock and Paramount also raised prices earlier this year.
Technology giant Apple raised its price in August, marking a fourth price increase in four years. Apple TV still holds the option to launch an ad-supported tier in the future. For consumers facing rising prices, the choices are to pay more, buy bundles that offer savings, or cut platforms to keep prices the same as last year.
