Hachette Livre names David Shelley global adviser and executive chair roles from 2027

David Shelley, CEO of Hachette UK and Hachette Book Group, is named global adviser to Arnaud Lagardère and Jean-Christophe Thiery from Jan. 1, 2027, and will become executive chair of Hachette UK and Hachette Book Group. Katie Espiner becomes CEO of Hachette UK under the new governance structure, with Ben Sevier appointed CEO of Hachette Book Group.
