New York DEC permits Casella to expand Hakes C&D landfill by about 43 acres

The New York DEC issued Casella Waste Systems a permit to expand its Hakes C&D landfill disposal area by about 43 acres, adding an estimated 5.8 million cubic yards of capacity and keeping the site permitted for up to 466,000 tons per year.
