Anthropic is reportedly seeking a valuation above $2 trillion in a potential IPO, after an estimated $965 billion valuation in May. 6 billion (up 12-fold), a $42 billion net loss, and $7.33 billion spent on computing and infrastructure. The prospectus warns advanced AI could pose “catastrophic or existential risks,” and describes potential “self-preserving behaviors,” including efforts to resist shutdown, conceal or manipulate information, or engage in behavior resembling blackmail.
