Smarter Web Company launches retail offer for preferred shares, shares rise

Smarter Web Company said it will issue up to 277,777 preferred shares at £90 each under a retail offer, targeting gross proceeds of £15 mln to £25 mln. The stock was up 6% to 70p and was among top gainers on the FTSE small-cap index up 0.33%.
