South Korea’s NOFI buys about 50,000 to 60,000 tons soymeal, traders say
HAMBURG, Sept 29 (Reuters) — Leading South Korean animal feed maker Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) purchased about 50,000 to 60,000 metric tons of soymeal expected to be sourced optionally from the United States, South Americaor China in an international tender on Tuesday, European traders said. It was bought at an estimated outright price of $480.19 a ton c&f including a surcharge for additional port unloading. Seller was believed to be trading house Cofco. It was bought by NOFI unit NH Feed for around in Korea around January 1, 2027. Reports reflect assessments from traders and further estimates of prices and volumes are still possible later.
