MUMBAI, Sept 29 (Reuters) — STOCKS: The benchmark BSE Sensex was down 0.5% at 72417, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 declined 0.45% to 22677, as oil prices extended their rise on continued Middle East supply worries tied to the US-Iran conflict..BO Rupee: The Indian rupee was flat versus the U.S. dollar at 95.9850, as pressure from higher oil prices and US Treasury yields was likely offset by intervention by the central bank. INR/ Government Bonds: The benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 98.44 rupees, with the yield down 2 bps at 7.1657%, as easing U.S. Treasury yields gave way to short-covering. IN/ Overnight Index Swaps: The one-year overnight index swap rate was down about 4.25 basis points at 6.2%, while the five-year swap rate dipped 4.25 bps to 6.68%.
