US closes probe into over 1 million Chrysler vehicles over underhood fire risk

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Tuesday said it had closed its preliminary evaluation into 1,076,999 Chrysler MIL:STLAM vehicles over reports of underhood fires while the vehicle was in the ignition-off state.
