Mitsubishi Motors August global production rises 6.2% to 63,031 vehicles

August 2026 global production was 63,031 vehicles, up 6.2% year-on-year; domestic output rose to 30,161 (+17.7%), overseas slipped to 32,870 (down 2.6% year-on-year). Exports fell 8.8% to 14,662. Domestic sales were 8,147 (+0.6%) and registrations fell 5.8% to 3,656. Fiscal 2026 to date production declined 3.2% to 337,569 and exports fell 6.6% to 78,726.
