Shikoku Electric Power raises low-voltage retail power rates from Nov. 1

Shikoku Electric Power will raise low-voltage retail electricity rates from Nov. 1 to pass through higher wheeling charges, with amended regulated tariffs filed with Japan’s METI. It forecasts incremental wheeling charge revenue of JPY 33.8 billion for fiscal 2026-2027, lifting an average Metered Lighting A household (260 kWh/month) to JPY 9,372 from JPY 8,894.
