Takeover Panel sets 13 Oct deadline for Waterland to clarify Gamma bid

The UK Takeover Panel ruled that Waterland must, by 5 p.m. on 13 October, either announce a firm intention to bid for Gamma Communications or say it will not make an offer. The deadline falls seven days before shareholder meetings on the agreed Epiris offer, unless another party announces a firm intention first.
