NHC: Tropical depression formation chance is high in eastern/central North Pacific
The National Hurricane Center says a low pressure area well east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands remains expected to become a tropical depression during the next day or two; formation chances through 48 hours and through 7 days are both high.
