US judge rules Trader Joe's did not mismanage forfeited retirement funds

The judge dismissed claims that Trader Joe's improperly used forfeited worker contributions to offset its own payments to an employee retirement plan. The plaintiffs won on a recordkeeping-fees claim; damages and interest were about $1.2 million.
