FTSE Russell updates index changes: Schroders deleted from FTSE 100

Balfour Beatty will be added to the FTSE 100 and deleted from the FTSE 250, while Meridian Mining will be added to the FTSE 250 and deleted from the FTSE SmallCap. All changes take effect on 1 October 2026, subject to court sanctioning the scheme of arrangement for Schroders' cash acquisition by Pantheon LLC.
