BMA to implement parametric special purpose insurer class in Q4 2026

The Bermuda Monetary Authority said it is drafting an Insurance Act amendment to implement the PSPI class in Q4 2026. It said existing insurers can keep writing parametric risk under current licence classes without re-licensing or re-domiciling.
