EU crop monitor cuts maize, sugar beet yield estimates

MARS lowered its EU grain maize yield forecast to 6.50 t/ha from 6.61 t/ha in August, 8% below the five-year average. Sugar beet forecast was cut to 67.4 t/ha from 72.2 t/ha, 11% below the five-year average.
