Swift says consumer payments framework will extend domestic payment experience across borders

Swift said its community is working with banks and payment providers to let consumers use familiar identifiers, such as mobile phone numbers and email addresses, for cross-border transfers. The framework already involves more than 100 banks and is aimed at making international payments feel more like domestic ones.
