Simplify presents $2.25-a-share proposal to acquire Marygold

Simplify Asset Management says it has submitted a new all-cash proposal to buy 100% of The Marygold Companies for $2.25 a share. It says the offer is not subject to financing contingencies and is above the purchase price announced on Sept. 25.
