Reports Saudi East-West Pipeline Has Resumed Oil Exports

A source said Saudi Arabia has repaired its key East—West oil pipeline after a drone attack earlier this month and has resumed exports through the line. Saudi Aramco spent last week testing and repressurizing the pipeline aiming to restore substantive flows by the weekend; the source said overseas shipments are now underway. The restart restores an alternative export route Saudi used during the Iran war and, along with increased volumes sent this month via the Strait of Hormuz, should ease buyer supply pressure after some European customers were told they will not receive any crude allocations next month under long-term contracts.
