Emerging-market assets weaken as US-Iran impasse lifts oil

MSCI's emerging-market equities index fell 1.1% and currencies were mixed as a stalemate in US-Iran talks pushed Brent crude higher. Turkish equities, the Hungarian forint and South African stocks all traded weaker as investors awaited US inflation and payrolls data.
